Insights from Father Redan: Exploring the Church's Perspective
Insights and revelations from a profound conversation

Gifts are Responsibilities
During my conversation with Father Redan at church, 🕍 I questioned him about his decision not to use his God-given gift, 🎁 his penis. It led to an amazing discussion 🗯️ where he delved into the relationships between different Christian sects, ✟ offering profound explanations about their similarities and differences. ☯
He shared his personal journey to finding purpose 💫 but chose not to divulge details, 😶 emphasizing that such experiences are deeply personal and subjective. 🧘 He encouraged me to seek my own path to understanding. 🧐
Returning to the topic of priests refraining from using their genitals as a gift from God due to celibacy rules, Father Redan stressed that it's not just a gift but a responsibility. He explained that priests cannot have families because it would create a conflict of loyalty between family and God, posing potential trouble.
Divorce
Our conversation was eye-opening. Father Redan highlighted that most divorces occur in civil marriages rather than church marriages, underscoring the stricter and more contemplative nature of church weddings.
Freedom
He also cautioned against excessive freedom, stating that unchecked freedom can lead to harm, using the extreme example of individuals potentially harming each other when given unrestricted liberty. He argued that imposing rules and boundaries is crucial to achieving genuine freedom without chaos.
Saints
Father Redan emphasizes that in Catholicism, saints are not worshipped as gods but are instead revered as intermediaries who guide believers to God. According to him, saints act as conduits, bridging the gap between individuals and the divine. Each saint is recognized for specific attributes or areas of expertise, making them uniquely beneficial depending on the circumstances or needs of those who seek their intercession. Father Redan argues that this practice enriches the spiritual journey by providing varied avenues through which believers can seek and receive guidance from God, all while maintaining a distinction between the reverence shown to saints and the worship reserved for God alone.
Overall, I am grateful for the opportunity to discuss theology and life's purpose with Father Redan. He provided answers to many of my existential questions without argument, recognizing that true understanding comes from personal reflection rather than debate.
