The Law of Karma: Understanding Cause and Effect
How your actions today shape your tomorrow

Reflecting on the power of karma makes me think about how my actions affect the people around me. 🧐 Today, Edjay and I encouraged Khenee to write a letter to her mom for Mother's Day as part of his 2024 goals. 💌 We want Khenee realize that the kindness we show to others might come back to us in the future. 💕 Just like how you hope your children will be sweet to you, being kind to your mom today could inspire them to do the same for you when they grow up. 🥰
However, when I reflect honestly, I realize I haven't always been kind. Sometimes, I play pranks or say things that might be hurtful. I may not necessarily mind it happening to me, but I wonder if someone would have the guts to do the same to me. Honestly, I use these playful jabs as a way to "filter" people in my life, seeing who can handle my sense of humor and odd personality.
This recent reflection on karma, however, has made me reconsider my approach. Knowing that what I do to others might come back to me, I'm starting to think it might be better to focus on spreading positivity throughout my interactions and stay calm during intense situations.
I also try to help out whenever I'm bored or not busy as I reflect on why my father is very active and industrious when helping my mom or doing volunteer work. Because in the first place, he has nothing to do in the meantime, and helping others makes him a kindness magnet. He's trying to make the most of time, probably. That manner is something I should adapt to my life.
