My Construction Worker Experience: Insights and Reflections

Appreciating Life Full of Ups and Downs

Newly Made Water Resorvoir Base at Elly's House

Yesterday and today, ⏰ I worked alongside my brother and the hired construction worker employed by my parents. 👷 It's an incredibly tough job, 🥵 mainly involving carrying two pails filled with a mixture of sand and cement. 🪣🪣 This task is particularly taxing on the fingers due to the small handles. 🙏🏼 We are constructing the base of our water reservoir. 💧

Although the construction period is relatively short—only two days—it's undeniably challenging.

It makes me wonder about those who do this kind of work every day, whether in road construction or building projects. I'm amazed at how people manage to find joy in life despite the hardships. Reflecting on this, I'm grateful that I don't have to do this type of work daily.

It truly makes me appreciate what I have. While I may not currently possess everything I desire, I'm relieved not to be engaged in labor-intensive work for minimal pay. Today's experience in such an exhausting environment only reinforces my gratitude for my current circumstances.
