Creating a Captivating Horror Short Film with Classmates
From Idea to Screen: Collaborative Filmmaking Experience
This morning, me and Shan had a discussion about the Computer Department Film Festival, and in the ISATECH office, other classmates were listening to us. The topic evolved as one of them started suggesting ideas, and soon everyone was involved. It was fascinating to see how group collaboration can create a film plot in such a fun way. It all started with "I have an idea," and the conversation made me excited to create the screenplay.
Since it's a horror film, I’m a little concerned about our set. We have a problem finding an abandoned house to shoot in, and I’m also thinking about how to portray blood and lethal action in a budget-friendly way. One of my classmates, who is also the president of the organization, suggested a location two hours' drive from the city. If this becomes a reality, I’m sure we will create amazing memories to look back on in the future.
Anyway, the storyline is intriguing, and I’m excited to see how we can turn it into an amazing film.
