Coding in the Zone

A Confusing Weekend: Balancing Priorities

This weekend, I was confused about what to prioritize—editing videos or coding. I felt overwhelmed and procrastinated on my video editing because I had so many videos to work on. Honestly, I’m sick of it. On the other hand, I felt the same way about coding and school. With a lot of upcoming tests and activities, I wasn’t sure if I was really into all this stuff.

Diving Into Coding

Despite the confusion, I ended up spending a lot of my time, especially yesterday, working on my PHP, HTML, and CSS blog project for school. I was blown away today realizing that I started coding around 12 PM. Even though I was in an uncomfortable position and the environment was hot, I still managed to get into the zone and code until 8 PM. Even when my aunt (Tita) was bothering me to eat dinner, I held off until 9 PM, then continued coding until 1 AM. I was like, whoa.

Sacrificing Comfort for Productivity

Even though I was exhausted, had eyebags, and felt dry waking up this morning, I still managed to have a dream about spending time with my crush. Today, Sunday, I finally finished my coding project and even cleaned up the code. This will make it easier to teach my classmates and quickly find specific pieces of code if needed.

Reflections on Routine

This month, I’ve accumulated a 120-peso penalty for failing the “wake up at 5 AM” challenge, completely ruining my routine. But I’m determined to get back on track starting today.
