From OBS Nightmare to Graduation Web App Hero!
Overcoming OBS Challenges: Building a Web App for School Graduation

A teacher at Tubungan National High School 👨🏻💼 contacted me to see if I could create an OBS project 💻 for the upcoming graduation ceremony. 🎓 The project involved creating entries for 200 students,👨🏻💻 which meant generating 200 sequences or layers in OBS 🤯 – a repetitive, 😵 time-consuming, 🫨 and frankly, irritating task. ◉‿◉
This sparked an idea: what if I built a web application to populate this information all at once? I figured I could convert the student data into an array and then map it through the app, significantly reducing the workload and streamlining the design process. Once the web app was complete, I simply needed to record my screen in full-screen mode, effectively controlling the graduation ceremony presentation through the application.
The graduation ceremony at the end of May was a learning experience. I encountered a lot of faults during the program, but luckily, the LED wall operator was there to catch my mistakes. He was very cooperative, which helped a lot.
I also noticed that my slides were too small, leaving a large empty space around them. It's frustrating that I didn't realize this sooner and make the necessary changes.
Overall, it was a disappointing experience. While I felt like giving up at times, I did complete the job and received a payment of 3,000 pesos, which is enough to cover my shitness.
